About the Editorial Team
Fengvi's blog articles are written and maintained by the Fengvi Editorial Team, the same small group that builds and runs the calculators on this site. Every guide on the Fengvi Blog is assembled from published rate sheets, provider fee schedules and central-bank reference data, and each figure is attributed on the page so you can check the arithmetic instead of taking our word for it.
The team works on exchange-rate data, transfer-cost modelling and consumer finance maths. Guides are drafted against the same primary sources the calculators use — European Central Bank reference rates, published provider fee schedules and payment-network documentation — and every number is traceable to one of them. Where an answer depends on your own circumstances, the guide says so rather than inventing a rule of thumb. When we get something wrong, the correction is published on the page.
What the Editorial Team Covers
Questions, corrections, or a source you think we should be adding? Email the team at contact@fengvi.com — every message is read, and factual corrections are published.
Editorial Policy
This page explains how Fengvi Tools produces its guides: how topics are chosen, how every figure is verified, how corrections are handled, and where the line is drawn between editorial content and advertising.
1. How we pick topics
Topics come from real questions readers send in — “how much will a transfer actually cost”, “which surcharge applies at an airport kiosk”, “what is a fair rate today”, “how do I budget a two-week trip”. We pick a topic when there is a public source that can answer it, and never because an advertiser asked us to write it.
2. Data sources
3. Editorial workflow
- Pick a primary source — a central-bank reference rate, a published fee table, or provider documentation.
- Cross-check every figure against a second source where possible. Numbers that cannot be cross-checked are flagged on the page.
- Draft in plain language, with every assumption (rate, date, fee tier) stated next to the calculation.
- Review by a second editor for accuracy, source attribution, and YMYL compliance.
- Publish with a visible publication date and a source list on the page.
- Quarterly review — rates, regulations and provider terms are re-checked; material changes trigger a visible update.
4. AI assistance
We use AI tools to assist with drafting, summarising and language polishing. Every published article is read, checked against its sources, and signed off by a human editor before it goes live. AI is never used to invent a figure or to skip the source-check step.
5. Correction policy
If you spot an error, email contact@fengvi.com. We aim to acknowledge factual corrections within 3 business days and publish the correction on the affected article. Material corrections are dated and visible at the top of the article, not hidden in a footnote.
6. Advertising & editorial independence
This site displays ads through Google AdSense. Advertisers do not see, review or approve our editorial content, and editorial content is never produced because an advertiser asked for it. If a guide mentions a product or a provider, the mention exists because the product is relevant to the question being answered. Where a commercial relationship exists (for example an affiliate link), the page says so next to the link.
